SPIRITUAL >> Love Thy Self
Spirituality: For some Spirituality and Religion are one of the same but as we look at its definition we could see that it is not. 1. Spiritual quality: the quality or condition of being spiritual. Religion: 1. beliefs and worship: people's beliefs and opinions concerning the existence, nature, and worship of a deity or deities, and divine involvement in the universe and human life. Sprituality

I tend to make up my own rules about life while taking in other religions’ beliefs and way of worship. I am a spiritual person. I pray more than once a day. I feel the more I pray the closer I am to my father (God, Allah, The Supreme Being, Greatness) In order for me to be closer to my father I feel that I must go along with his plan and keep away from the 7 seven deadly sins. You see, to believe in one’s own abilities is self love but at in extreme it becomes Pride. Pride is excessive belief in one's own abilities that interferes with the individual's recognition of the grace of God. It has been called the sin from which all others arise. Pride is also known as Vanity. To admire others traits, abilities and so forth is admiration but at an extreme is called Envy. Envy is the desire for others' traits, status, abilities, or situation. To have is just fine, everyone wants something but just how much of that do you really need? Too much of anything is not good for you! I am sure we have all experienced too much of “something” it then becomes “addictive” which in turn is called Gluttony.  How much jewelry do you need, my brother? How many cars can you drive? How many homes can you live in while others die from inadequate food, shelter, love, and resources but here I see you have abundance and what’s worse is you’re your not sharing. Gluttony is an inordinate desire to consume more than that which one requires. Love? We sometimes mistake Lust for love. I have been guilty of that myself. Lust is a very powerful feeling more so for one gender than the other. This could be your demise, my friend. Lust can kill you. Frantically, hunting down something to pleasure you for the weekend because if you don’t you won’t feel like a man or a woman can be deadly. Lust is an inordinate craving for the pleasures of the body. What about anger? Anger at an extreme can cause you your life! Anger is manifested in the individual who spurns love and opts instead for fury. It is also known as Wrath. You can easily become a slave to the government by allowing such an emotion over take your every thought and move. If we keep allowing anger to blind us and take someone else’s life that will surely enslave us. Did you know that the Constitution stipulates that “we are free for as long as we do not break the law” and if we do “we become slaves”, government property for x amount of years. That’s the biggest trap if I ever heard one. The government has set us up for failure with our drugs infested confined streets but that’s another page. Keep reading my brothers/sister. Greed is the desire for material wealth or gain, ignoring the realm of the spiritual. It is also called Avarice or Covetousness. Wow. This sounds like a lot of brothers I know that are on TV and radio. Always talking about themselves, which is vanity, splurging like Romans did, Glutton. Advocating violence which is anger. Chasing women (lust) on TV with no respect for themselves or the female (women too!) Never recognizing nor apologizing for their mistakes, vanity. Men and Women have been given a second, third chances at life and in the meanwhile never acknowledging or accepting his/her own spirit…that which is GOD. Sloth is the avoidance of physical or spiritual work. So, my brothers/sisters, if we continue on this road of self loathe and self destruction who do you think we will be destroying? Our communities? Our families? Our children? Yes we will and what’s worse we are destroying GOD. God is within ourselves. Find him, noursh him, love him, take care of him for when you kill  that Supreme Being that is within side of you, I truly believe that we will be forsaken. I am not here to preach to you just to balance you OUT!

There is nothing wrong with wants, needs, and emotions. In order for US as a people to elevate ourselves on business/community/people we must first work on our inner strength. The greatness within ourselves can be unleashed just by balancing ourselves by the manner in how speak, think, work and do! We must strength our character, and then enrich our lives with what really matters. OUR PEOPLE….ALL THE PEOPLE.  This should not be a place of selfishness where you do you and never mind everyone else. When you do that you are “never minding” GOD. If you have God within you, which is greatness what do you think 10 people around posses? GOD, GREATNESS, LOVE times 10. Allow us to do for ourselves by you doing for you but balanced! If you are breaking all the rules and going against the grain then you are part of God’s plan too! You’re just on the wrong side. So, I don’t question my father for he is ALWAYS right but I listen for him within me. Even though there are times that my emotions want to over take me, I balance myself out and practice what my brother (Jesus, Mohammad) preached to me and do.

STAY AWHILE THIS WILL ONLY GET BETTER!

PEACE AND BLESSINGS
